DESCRIPTION
The Omega Railmaster, one of their original 'professional models', launched in 1957 and stood alongside other great names like the Milgauss, the Ingenieur and the Geophysic. But recently the Railmaster received a major upgrade. Not just in the near 1:1 limited edition re-creation but in a whole new interpretation: the Seamaster Railmaster which has made this watch even better.
This watch is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, making it resistant to magnetic fields of 15,000 gauss. way more than any of its competitors.
The larger 40mm symmetrical case is made from brushed stainless steel and a muted matt grey dial that includes “vintage” Super-LumiNova hands and markers. The beige “Railmaster” indication also gives a classic touch. This is a solid, quality watch with subtle vintagedtones.
The watch has a stainless steel bracelet as well as an oriented caseback featuring a NAIAD LOCK design to keep the wording in position.
